So, I read this morning that gas and fuel products are now our biggest export. Ready, wait for it……….. because there is a surplus of fuel. They are selling it out of the country to keep prices up. They even admit it. Thank you U.S. Government for avoiding making fuel a commodity — natural gas is a commodity, as is propane. WTF, I want to scream!
I myself, think the deal in wisconsin is great… no collective barganing for government, state or city workers. The REAL problem is the outlandish pensions. Hey, firemen do a great job, but retirement at 100% of their best salery? We have fire chiefs knocking down $20,000. a MONTH on retirement here. $270,000. a year for a public service???? Right, why are we broke again? D’OH! There needs to be a cap of with max of like $5000. a month for city workers. Just the firemen alone get $90.000. a year–they make big money, let them save some–why do WE have to pay them such a retirement? But wait, then you add in all the other pensions… We’re paying for a WHOLE workforce that is retired and cannot run the city.
So you ask what is the solution? Bankruptcy for cities… Most city goverments are looking to bankruptcy for help. Once they file it, all the contracts are busted. Where’s that union now? See the public workers and their unions got greedy — they got the huge retirement dollars for a lot of upper people along with police and fire; They have milked the system dry yet at the same time, the revenues for the city goes down — no one is willing to work for less. Yet, in the real world wages and compensation are dropping to the floor, while at the same time, PUBLIC SERVANTS ARE EXEMPT. Stay tuned to your tv and watch the cities drop, once one does this they all will follow. And, for the record: wages have dropped 30%, groceries have gone up this month 26% and fuel, well we all know that ass-reaming is coming, thanks to the Muslim Brotherhood. Fuel prices alone caused this mess before and now, fuel alone will finish it. Food costs are up 26%, before the fuel costs…..everything you eat, drink, or use is moved by truck. I’m not being all “Gloom and Doom Jim” here, I’m actually working on being a happier person. (Really!)
Oh and I forgot the goverment says that “everything is coming back and is fine.” TIKI-JIM’S economic prediction: The goverment is packing the market, that’s why it’s up right now. The market shouldn’t be up, it’s all BS! Mark my words: they are trying to hold up Wall Street, but if you are invested in there, watch out for big companies moving around and fishy stuff. CEO’s putting up compensation shares or whatever, cause its gonna crash. Look at the world economy and civil unrest. why is the dow up???? Use commen sense…
Gas prices… why are we sending OUR oil to Europe and then having to import what we use here? How dumb is that? It is, isn’t it? Unless you’re a non-driver, you HAVE to have noticed gas prices soaring–the speculators sure are happy. It’s because of the unrest in the middle east. I say: Hell, leave ol’ Mumamar where he is. And of course, this time, unlike where Geroge W. Bush had the gonads to do something about the gas prices and oil speculators, our beloved president, Barry Obama (isn’t he really just a Muslim plant?) won’t do anything to help us.
Does Barry REALLY care about us, or is he more interested in boosting his native land??? Enquiring minds wanna know.

On the way to work today I was listening to the news. I’m sure, like me you all are just tired of the news. It seems Congress has decided not to vote on tax breaks until after the November elections. I would love to postpone things like this, but I couldn’t do it. I ask you Mr. Congressman and Senator: “Do your views change because of an election?” How does what’s best for the American people change back and forth so quickly and readily? I know all of you have core beliefs, how to raise your kids, whats right or wrong in your heart and I doubt you flop around like a dead fish there–why now, on this issue? Could it be that you’re afraid that you might not get reelected if you don’t say “the right things.”
So how does a person run for office, promising to be there to represent the people and their best interests, only then when elected to office, do the exact opposite of what they promised? I’m sure you’ve all heard that we are headed to hell in a handbag, on a rocket ship–well, we are, thanks to lawyers and insurance companies. See, you have to remember that most politicians are lawyers, that’s how they can lie and still sleep well. Doesn’t it sound like a conflict of interest to have all these lawyers making all the rules and regulating themselves? It does to me.
A Diverse Government
Look my gentle readers, we need a diverse government, right now we have mostly lawyers in office–we need people from other professions to hold office, normal people like a garbage man, a clerk, a construction worker, a mom, a teacher, a soldier, a truck driver, an accountant, a waiter or waitress, a farmer–you get the idea. I’m trying to point out to you the normal, everyday, hard-working people that make up this country (and, if I missed your profession, sorry I could go on for a month.) You go to your job everyday and fix things, then go home and have a budget and do the best for your family; lawyers get paid to argue (to use the law, to win against their opponent. You get paid to get the job done; lawyers don’t get the job done, they litigate and bill $500. an hour–my point is that we need you in office. Really , would you put your kids into debt like these people are doing to our Nation? Common people CAN get the job done–this country’s fathers took a hell of a risk to start it. It’s up to us to fix it.

All right people, I know times are tough and we all need to tighten our belts. Yeah, I got it. Please understand though, that when you come into a legal place of business, to get a quote for work, you shouldn’t expect my price to be “Internet cheap.” The people that advertise on Craig’s List don’t have to pay rent, insurance, phone, city county and state fees and taxes. And they also don’t have much responsibility to do the job right.
I know that my job is to accommodate you and help with a problem, but please realize that when I do work for you there is a liability on me–If the work doesn’t hold up or causes an accident, you will come back to me looking for compensation or more. I know the unlicensed people are a little cheaper, but not that much–do you really want your child riding in a car fixed by a person that has nothing to lose (and they don’t). Stop yelling at me when I give you a good price–I know everyone thinks businesses are out to rape you, but really, DO YOU THINK I’m working on your stuff for fun–we work on stuff to make a living, legally.
I just had a guy get pissy because I quoted him $300.00 to rebuild and install seat covers he bought somewhere else, in order to save a few shekels and cut me out of any profit. Surprise, there ain’t an “easy button” in the box… “Well ah paid for them covers and you want THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS just to put them on?!? You’re crazy.” Well lets see… $85.00 an hour to strip and rebuild 2 bucket seats and THEN accept the liability of your cut-rate covers not fitting right, tearing, falling apart due to being made of shitty material or even having a spring break and coming through in to your child’s butt…. AAAARRRRRRGGGHHHH!
